Herbology.

At Wildflower, part of the holistic approach incorporates the use of plants to address the physical nature of our being. I have studied through Holistic Arts Institute and The Home Herb school as well as just having done extensive studying on my own. I am in alignment with the philosophy of integrating ancient wisdom with modern practice. Herbology utilizes the traditional benefits of certain plants for a natural approach to supplementing one’s health, though it is never intended to replace medical care and cannot “cure” any disease.

I also offer occasional classes to teach more about this holistic art. Wildflower is a space that desires individuals to have the opportunity to become educated and live as independently and sustainably as possible.

Herbal selections at Wildflower tend to be those that specifically address and support emotional health and wellness. My formulas are designed to promote healthier sleep patterns, adaptogens that assist in minimizing stress related symptoms, and herbs that promote and assist with calmness, focus, and balance.

Herbal recommendations may be in the form of a tea, a tincture, or topical salve depending on purpose and need. I am always going to reiterate the importance of first consulting with a physician before adding any new dietary supplements to your regime. Additionally, I am available and happy to answer any questions for you or your physician about the various ingredients in my herbal products.

Wildflower strongly discourages the use or abuse of any illegal drugs and or the abuse of alcohol as this does not align with a healthy holistic lifestyle. Many, but not all of my tinctures are a non-alcoholic base making them suitable for daily consumption and for those in recovery.

Wildflower strives to create a welcoming, inviting environment and knows that feeling safe is a powerful component to success.
